Fantastic! Absolutely everything. Super friendly and great staff, they look after your comfort beautifully. You really don't miss anything. We had our room in the new part of the hotel. Beautiful, clean, spacious. Hot water was running, it was flooded. There is free water and snacks in the room and also more for a fee from the mini fridge. The room included a hair dryer, which anyone would welcome after a few days trekking in the rain. We went for dinner (very good), had breakfast (fantastic) but be warned - if you go the West Highland Way, don't eat too much. The first hill after the hotel is deadly. Oh, and the packed lunch is generous and very tasty. Lovely experience.

I stopped off for supper on the way back home. I have stayed here before and it was fabulous! The service ea excellent as I didn't have a booking and they squeezed me into what looked like a tight service. I opted for the haggis, tatties and neeps. It was delicious. The haggis was authentic and had excellent flavours. The tatties were not overly seasoned or creamed and the neeps had a nice seasonal freshness. The jus/ gravy reduction was delicious. If you are heading to Glencoe or beyond stop here, you won't regret it! If you're a walker take the road over the wee bridge and follow past the sign that reads " that which burns never returns" until you come to the hotel and if you're lucky you'll be greeted by the deer. I have fed them in the past but remember they are still wild animals so dot approach directly.

A beautiful location, and I love it when the staff are obviously enjoying their work, which is the case here. The service is excellent and delivered with humour and efficiency. Dogs are very welcome in the bar and in the rooms, being absolutely spoiled by the staff. Our room was one of the motel style ones in the newer extensions, and was beautifully appointed including A HUGE double bed, a useful small fridge and a drying lobby in the entrance that became essential in the very wet weather we had during our visit. A useful stop off for West Highland Way walkers or anyone looking for a scenic getaway. Highly recommended

Back again. This time for the wine tasting and 6 course tasting menu. We were treated to the wine sommelier entering playing the bagpipes which was fantastic. The food was presented beautifully and more importantly it tasted amazing, enjoyed most of the wine but not all as not a fan of dessert wine. It was a fantastic evening and csnt wait to return

We arrived way earlier than we expected and this place was so nice! They have a large downstairs lounge to wait in out of the weather - we were able to read/rest/repack while we waited for our room to be ready. Once ready, the room was warm and cozy. I felt like I was all elbows in the bathroom, but that was easily outweighed by the kind staff and supportive location. Separately, the restaurant was outstanding, one of the best meals of the trip. I only wished for a non-dairy/vegan dessert option!
